Cantilever Platform Systems

A crude oil offloading system developed for handling OCIMF hose permanently floating on the surface of the sea from mid-ship of an FPSO vessel. The cantilever system developed by ContiTech Beattie Limited is a fully integrated design with hose handling equipment and high integral control that is fully compatible to the recovery of OCIMF floating hose from the sea.

The offloading system is designed for installation on-board FPSO vessels and for transfer of crude oil to a shuttle tanker fitted with bow loading systems or similar.

The offloading system will incorporate a shuttle tanker mooring system operable alongside the offloading system. The mooring system will be used to deploy, anchor and retrieve a mooring hawser line. When fully deployed and anchored, the hawser line will connect the FPSO and shuttle tanker to prevent drift off during offloading operations.
