Registration to both ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001

ContiTech Beattie is proud to announce successful registration to both ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 following an in depth and detailed external audit by LRQA, carried out in two phases on our integrated Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) management system. Achieving registration is a tremendous success, which took a great deal of effort on the part of all members of the ContiTech Beattie team and helps to demonstrate the recent radical transformation undergone by the company.

The ISO14001 framework has provided us with a suitable structure to demonstrate our responsible business management and a concern for the environment in which we operate. This system has allowed us to take steps to reduce the waste we produce, reduce the energy we use and also reduce the raw materials we consume.  OHSAS 18001 allows us to deliver reliable products and services without excessive downtime caused by work-related accidents and incidents and we strive to meet our ongoing target of a zero accident rate.

Our experiences have shown that these systems inspire and channel the creativity of all members of the organisation, making them active agents of change; promoting risk reduction, environmental protection, and improved efficiencies. For the future, we will strive to continuously improve our performance with regard to Health Safety and Environmental issues.
