IIP International Visit

On 7 April, ContiTech Beattie welcomed 25 visitors from Slovenia and Croatia to outline the benefits gained from looking after the health and wellbeing of employees. The group were accompanied by representatives of Investors in People International and included representatives from a range of sectors, including trade unions and social organisations.

Julie McCallum, HR Adviser at ContiTech Beattie, said “We see it as an important part of our role as an Investors in People Champion to mentor and pass on our experience. We were able to show the visitors how IiP, and the Health and Wellbeing Award in particular, has been a huge benefit to us.”

Du š anka Lu ž ar Š ajt, Project Leader and Manager from Economic Institute, Mariboor in Slovenia said: “We have worked with Investors in People International for a long time and we wanted to look at the Health and Wellbeing Award in particular. Our group includes representatives of companies with workforces ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 people and some are making their first ever visit to the UK. It has been a very worthwhile visit.”
